Bee Routes

BelAfrique will soon also launch her new BEE Routes. As I’ve been fascinated by bees throughout my life and just started as a beekeeping hobbyist, the Honey Bee Foundation and myself have joined forces to put together some very specialist tours. These range from beginners to medium & advanced tours.

I so wish to share my new passion and fascination with you. Not only because a bee's life on its own is already very interesting, without even mentioning honey & both their symbolic meaning throughout the centuries & in the different cultures.

Did you know that the bee is also the messenger in our world, just like the canary used to be in the mines. Yes, this is quiet an extreme and alarming comparison. Especially if you know that the last decade Bees have been disappearing all over the world!

Do you enjoy nature, do you care for the environment, are you interested in natural medicinal aids, do you love honey? Join us on one of our tours, you will learn that there is way much more to this little insect than you would have every expected AND of course we’ll show you some of the beauty of South Africa. We definitely won’t let you go home without having done at least a safari whilst your in Africa but you will also learn how to make your own hive, visit an apiary, harvest your own honey,…

If you are interested, please send us an email with just BEE-Routes as a title + your level (beginners/medium/advanced) and when you would like to travel. We’ll keep you updated regarding departure dates and full programs as soon as they are released.
