2011-02-07 : RESPONSIBLE TOURISM

no info for treeswoman [treeswoman.jpg]
Responsible Tourism seems more of a trend lately than anything else: be green, sponsor a community, plant a tree? Some might find it boring already No doubt It has become a business, however if that means that "The Cooperation" is now also sponsoring a local community or planting fields of trees, isn't that great? There are indeed some charlatans around, so if you don't have time to ask questions where your money is going, just look out for the logo of Fair Trade in Tourism

Lawrence Anthony is a highly-respected South African conservationist and co-founder of The Earth Organization. When Lawrence Anthony was asked to accept a herd of 'rogue' elephants on his reserve at Thula Thula, his common sense told him to refuse. 2011-01-11 : ITINERARIES & COST

no info for indigo [indigo.jpg]
I refuse putting itineraries on my site. Like destination info, there are 101 places to stay & things to do. I don't want to turn my website into a forest were you can't distinguish the trees no more. I rather have a 1 on 1 with you and put something together that fits like a glove. If your serious about your travels it's the one & only approach. Feel free to contact me, I really don't bite for those a bit reluctant, I would love to hear from you. I do have some sample itineraries available which I can email. If you think your budget wont fit the bill, give me a try anyway. I like a bit of a challenge and if I cant help you, I'll surely know people who can.
